The promotion of YOUR accommodation on the Internet is a responsibility we take very seriously. Internet Marketing is a new and still developing business skill - our experience goes back to the pioneering days of the Internet in 1994. Members benefit from a wealth of experience and knowledge gained over 16 years.
WEBSITES: The B&B Network consists of over 100 dedicated inter-linked portal websites and hundreds of members websites that provide a high link popularity index. Additionally, the wider Network for tourism and leisure has a growing number of regional, events calendars and specialist websites (eg. car rental & Last Minute websites) that act as portals or provide direct links to the B&B Network. No organisation can represent the whole accommodation and hospitality sector effectively, hence our policy not to oversubscribe membership in any specific town or region. Membership Certificate and Window Badge
BRAND B&B NETWORK: More and more people use the Web for booking accommodation than ever before. It is important to show guests you are a member of a bona fide Internet Marketing Association - The B&B Network is an increasing recognised International ´Brand´ name.
Displaying the Window Badge and / or certificate acts as a subtle reminder that you can be easily found online and where you can be found matching up nicely with our FOUND and be SEEN policy. Visitors have become familiar with the B&B Network format and we receive many positive comments on the layout and ease of use of our websites.
MOBILE PHONES & PDAs: The B&B Network Technical Team has developed a number of web based directories for mobile computing devices (PDAs) and Mobile Phones. These allow the users to send an email or telephone any B&B Network member, whilst they're on the move or at a meeting. The emergence of iPhone Applications provide perhaps the most important platform for the B&B Network since its inception.
Introduced in 2009, our first Red Dot Deal website promoting last Minute Deals & Special Offers provided a life line during the recession to our Irish members. Such was the success, that there are now Red Dot Deal websites for Ireland, UK, Europe and Worldwide - creating a new ´Brand´ that provides more portals and more opportunities for members. Members posting a Last Minute Deal or Special Offer on their websites, will find them added automatically to the appropriate Red Dot Deal websites (we call this syndicating). This facility is a feature of the International Member grade
NEWSLETTERS & EMAIL CAMPAIGNS: Our International Newsletter is sent to over 40,000 "opted in" readers and from time to time they also receive notification of special offers via email.
PRINTED MATERIAL: We have a DL leaflet to promote the B&B Network at exhibitions, seminars, workshops and to travel agents & guests - members with information racks can request these leaflets (cost of P&P only).
MEDIA PROMOTION: We regularly release information to the media on our activities and new innovations. In the UK we shall be advertising in the popular SEEK family guides to travel & holidays
EXHIBITIONS: We make an annual ´pilgramage´ to the B&B Expo in Brussels every year in order to raise the profile of the B&B Network amongst the trade and public.
